    I knew it was Mickey Rooney because I’m old. Even before social media it was criticized. Like John Wayne playing Ghengis Khan it’s been ridiculed and brought up as an example of Hollywood racism for decades.

        lol. Real question then, did you know about the existence of Breakfast at Tiffany’s because it was a classic film, or because the song by Deep Blue Something made it relevant again in the 90s?

          I knew the classic film from a cover of Henry Mancini’s song Sally’s Tomato done by The Silhouettes. But I didn’t actually watch it until Spring of 1999.
