whenever someone does this, I often say sure but you’re still gonna need to send me written instructions
your inability to communicate effectively isn’t my problem and I have other things to do. write a clearly worded email and move on. I’m not going to put more effort into the task than you put into explaining it.
Everytime someone is telling me any number longer than 3 digits without a pause, my brain stops registering numbers

Yeah, my partner’s kid really enjoys being the one to read out board game instructions, and it’s …not the best way for me to absorb information…
But, he enjoys the fuck out of it, so whatever. As long as I have access to the printed rules during my first playthrough, I’ll be fine.

This was me. I feel it’s damn near a miracle I got through university. Make good friends people. Get together with them regularly to study.
Some professors made slides with information in. Some had unrelated pictures where they presumably said the important info. You can guess which classes were hard for me based on that alone (even when id use the course books for those)
