As we were walking along the Torrens north east of Adelaide City someone walking the opposite way told us to look out for a couple of koalas. They were pretty stoked and couldn’t wait to show their son the photos they had taken.

It took us a while to spot them, they were near the top of what I think was a young tree. It was hard to get a clear picture through the foliage and light rain.

The younger of the two (parent and joey probably?) was very energetic. Really wanted the leaves right at the top of the tree.

Not long after it bucketed down and we got soaked.
