Internal SA government emails show public servants were told to remove the words “harmful”, “outbreak” and “disaster” from communications about the marine algal bloom off the state’s coastline.
One Department for Environment and Water worker described the advice to remove the word “harmful” as bizarre.
The documents were released to the state opposition under Freedom of Information laws.
If they continue this way, our state governments will have to open depts for Inane Communications.
