I’m actually just doing that because some assholes i used to talk to irl tried to “cancel” me by pretending i was an active 4chan user, and i did tell one member of thst friendgroup about this site recently. I am no longer gonna let my pathetic trauma get in the way of acting normal online. This isn’t reddit, after all.

Lemmy actually seems not blindly-anti-4chan, which is nice.

Still, i wouldn’t actually want to use it again. But it definitely has normal people on, because it wouldn’t function otherwise.
