bubble popping won’t stop memes like this, localized models are the only ones that really make sense.

bubble really only concerns the datacenters

The bubble where he can’t just download some freely available tools and a model file around 10GB and make something like that on basically any gaming computer from the last 5 years by typing in a description? Because that’s not going away - only the massive investment circle-jerks throwing money at things with no real product, no solid idea of what a product would look like and no plan of ever turning a profit are going away, and possibly causing a recession in the process.

I’m with you. It’s better to get the point across and the message out than to nitpick about how the message must be formatted. It’s like people nitpicking grammar/vocabulary, instead of recognizing that language is a tool for communication, and as long as it’s understandable, it’s fine.

Look I don’t want to tell you your business, but to me this is less of an AI vs human thing and more about embracing yourself. I’ve had so much more joy from people’s dogshit drawings than I have from the AI stuff. There’s a heart and soul behind dogshit.

I prefer to see dogshit human art than whatever soulless sinful shit generated by an AI.
Hell, most good memes are badly drawn dogshit, that’s part of the culture.
