Oh yeah. Very correct. They’re actively trying. I’m aware of some taco bells that have implemented AI ordering, but, as you said, people fucking hate it, and AI struggles with orders like “I’ll have 14,000 free waters” and then the system crashes for several minutes. People I know have consistently gotten meals comped because it’s failed in one way or another, so they’re abandoning it, for now
It’s not involuntary until you TRY. Bro is just celibate
You’re right, but the further from release you are the less relevant this becomes. Another win for patient gamers
Of course. Safety systems to keep Karen and her passengers safe. Good luck, everybody else
I’ve been wishing for modular EV parts that can be build it yourself for ages. I’ve been TOLD that the problem is street legality: parts don’t come with a VIN, parts don’t assure required safety systems. It would be amazing, but for street driving we’d need a massive shift in the legal system to accommodate them

2·2 months agoEhhhh, we had a perception as the big damn heroes after tipping the scales in WW2 and then with the founding of the UN, being the only member state that wasn’t devastated by WW2, positioning us as the de facto enforcer. There was some very limited good work done in that context that got good press in Europe. But we were also overthrowing democratic south American nations nonstop during that time… And everything since…
There have been times that others thought we were the good guys, but they were probably just wrong.

It’s per person. There are less jobs, but each does the same number of hours as before
