I always thought it felt kinda good when I would cook a new dish for me and a partner/friends and they enjoyed it. It gave me a small warm fuzzy feeling, I would get pissed if I was not allowed to do that (both the cooking, as I like it, and the fuzzy, again because I like it).

the idea of gendered jobs is just some old ass shit. You wanna cook clean and be the one who get drunk at the bar and starts fights, do it, I mean not around me because you sound like a mess, but you dont need tits or a dick to preform most things in life.

I have seen a lot of that too, where its he grills and she does the inside cooking.

that is super fucked up, like no matter the amount of money I have made even when I had people in the house that could cook for me, I was still like no let me cook for me and my partner.

I find it soooo weird that people say cooking is a womans job (it should just be who ever likes cooking job), but in most parts of the world, men are dominantly the people who do the cooking in professional and home environments. I love cooking and my partner loves the chemistry of baking, else we would just have a cabinet of craft dinners and ramen (not that we dont have those on hand).

came here to say just this, just seeing a feed of your childs interactions at another space is fucking weird. Why goto this logging level? Isnt it just good enough of, yeah they napped well today, and they hit there head, it scared them but we got them calmed and an ice pack just in case.

I feel like this is what helicopter parenting but they have to work so this is what they want and they need to calm down, they dont even monitor the indoor air at this level and that has been shown to be a big contributor of poor mental performance then just being at day care with sun and playing with others.
