I thought it was just a joke about the tai chi looking pose = old people in parks. Did I understand wrong?

Yeah, maybe two, I don’t know. What I know is when I was a kid, it was standard to keep them on. I can’t think of anyone I know my age or younger who would keep their shoes at home. Maybe because we got to mix more with other cultures.

It changed quick like in a generation.
