Asmongold, the literal personification of a trash can. Don’t look him up, life’s better spent without knowing of his existence.

Him and his fans deserve to be mocked. The next time you interact with a fan of his, ask them why he wont take an IQ test on stream if thinks Africans naturally have a lower IQ.

I looked this up and every single study reports lower iq in Africa. Asians have the highest. Is this bullshit?

Yes. Firstly, iq tests have a bias to the culture that created them. It’s based on the sorts of problems that that culture values. You can’t use it to compare to different populations with different cultures.

Secondly, depending on what source you found, the study might have been run by racists with an agenda.

Thirdly, Africa is a huge continent with wildly varying cultures. You can just average those results together and get anything useful out of it, unless you have a racist agenda.

Well yeah everyone knows the iq test is not a good metric for actual intelligence.

So those cultures technically do have lower iq scores.

I don’t personally believe in iq tests though.

I linked a video that want into more detail, but Asmon was repeating a bad report that Afericans have a 70IQ. Even when the test wasn’t made for them and it’s dishonest to think that a different in IQ is meaningful in this instance, that’s still a dishonest number.

I can’t find a single study that doesn’t report low iq in somalia. Why has it only been studied by racists? Every single study?

I know iq tests are bullshit but the numbers are right here.

Just going to say again I don’t believe iq scores mean anything. Obviously the testing on science isn’t going to go well in cultures that are dominated by cultist religious folk. What about math though?

My takeaway from your video is just a really long winded way of saying that you get good iq scores if you are good at taking iq tests. Which happens to be where people are most educated.

This really all comes down to whether a person believes that an iq score is a valid way to determine overall intelligence.

He’s huge on all the streaming platforms, so you can’t really ignore him. Clueless people will have his content force fed to them by the algorithm, and some will end up becoming fans.

Pre-empting that by pointing out how much of a disgusting pathetic loser and worthless piece of shit he is might help someone make an informed choice before watching his content.

No, people cannot make an informed choice without information.

…That’s what the “informed” part of that phrase means.

Part of making informed choice is to listen to arguments. You just postulate to avoid this guy because you don’t like what he says.

I can tell from your diminished reasoning abilities that you’re probably an Asmongold fan. There’s not much I can type here to help you, but I’ll try to keep it short and use simple words and bullet points:

                • I have heard him talk
                • by hearing him talk, I have become informed about him
                • using this information, I have made the informed decision to not listen to him further

I can try simplifying it further if you still don’t get it.

                  • I have heard him talk too
                  • by hearing him talk I have become informed about him.
                  • using this information I built an informed opinion that some of his takes are correct, some are retarded, but most of them are fun.
