Open Source has lots of jobs attached to it, firefighter is also available as full time paid job - yes there is a shit ton of free labor work being done there, but there’s also the opportunity to work in that space professionally.
Sure, but the point of this post is that people will gladly do free labor and innovate without any expectation of monetary compensation, disproving the myth that people would be unproductive and no innovation would occur without the profit motive. People are productive and innovate for many reasons and will continue to do so even after we abolish capitalism.
