I told EVERYONE when I got my Herman Miller. I went through multiple 140-200USD garbage chairs before going big. Now I have the best most comfy amazing chair ever and I love it so much and I’m finna get another one for my partner. Holy balls it’s so amazing sitting in a chair for 12 hours in a day and feeling AWESOME after.

I have a a Ron and I kinda regret it :/ it’s not uncomfortable but it’s nothing like sitting weightless on a cloud like some people make it out to be

Oh defo don’t feel too bad about that! They’re all like that, honestly, for everyone I know who has gotten one. The thing is, while they’re not like… La-Z Boi or whatever a big comfy chair is-comfy, you should able to sit in it for a solid 8-10+ hours in a day without it hurting your back, bum, or legs. My previous chairs were pretty comfy, but fucked my shit up after a bit if sitting. I’m also not huge and one had foam and one had mesh, and both got soooo flat I was sitting on plastic after like two years.

I also expected to sit in an areon B and have it feel GODLY after the internets told me it would be, but really it’s just a thing ya gotta adjust every setting to make I fit your body.

I adjusted the one I tried a ton and made it feel nice, but the Mirra 2 had a crazy adjustable rocking toughness, and you can unlock it so it rocks all the way FORWARD, and there’s two levels of rocking back—back, and wayyyy back. I do more relaxing than at-computer-work all day even when working at home so I went for that one.

I would kill for an Aeron when I have to go into the office. I’m sitting up a lot more there and lounging less.

Mirra2! I tried Aeron and wanted one the MOST, but I had a Mirra 2 next to an Aeron B and sat back and forth between them for like 15 minutes and finally decided “the Mirra 2 seems more… relax.”

I can sit in it for 12+ hours in a day and my bum and legs never fall asleep. My back feels amazing. The lumbar support is stellar. I love it so much.

I bought a steel case as a happy in between … and wish I got a herman miller.

The steel case is real nice but for the price the build quality is shit.

The Herman Miller chair I had at my old office was hands down the better chair and worth the price difference.

It’s my job and my hobby and some health issues, mothafucka, go judge elsewhere. I’m exercising again (only at expert level on beat saber, used to be much better) but I need a place I can sit for a long time when shit’s bad. A nice chair bests bed rotting all fucking day
