I understand not wanting sex without love. I couldn’t imagine paying that kind of attention to someone’s needs, learning what they like and don’t like, earnestly doing your best to meet those needs, and showing the most vulnerable parts of yourself to someone you don’t care about. The difference for me is that unlike most people I happen to be the type to love people very easily. I love everyone I’m with, even if we’re only in each other’s lives for one night.
(Or perhaps you meant no sex without commitment - in which case I’m the exact opposite and I never ask for or expect commitment from anyone 😅)
But in any case, I wish you well with your period of not dating, and I hope it’s exactly what you need to find yourself and understand your own needs and boundaries. It’s a rough thing to do, but it’s so important!
