My mom was very censorious and nuerotic about video games when I was a kid (Thanks, Oprah). I rented Earthbound from Blockbuster and the save file from the last person named Ness and Paula “Butt” and “Boobs” respectively. Oh man, I got a completely undeserved earful for that.
My Mom was the same. She once taped over a crude sketch of boobs on a Beatles poster I had. You could barely even tell it was a sketch of a nude lady. Probably something Yoko did. Very late era Beatles. It blows my mind that she even took the time to study the poster that much. But she did. Moms like that can make you sit at the table until you eat all the peas. Guess what, Moms!?! I like peas now…and we can say or see “Boobs” all the time!
