This is a piece of digital art I made using a photograph of a light through a tree’s canopy using a modified lens, then edited using GIMP, Audacity, Blender, and Lightroom then back through the software a few times is various orders.

The name came from a friend who when they saw it said that it reminded them of “those glowing brain activity things”, and after telling them how I made it they said “A Thought Canopy”.

Didn’t really know where to share it on lemmy so I figured “Why not the apartment of awesome?”

    I’m not sure what SSTV is but basically you import the image as a raw data file into Audacity then add audio effects.

    Here’s a tutorial on how to do it.

    You can get some really interesting effects doing it!

    EDIT: And yeah the link is to a really odd place (A Minecraft forum?) but when I first heard of the process that’s the link someone sent me so I’m gonna pass it on. Though I should make sure that that link is mirrored somewhere…
