It’s almost like a dumbass mentally slow adult who plays video games for a living and lives in filth might not have educated opinions

Idk when society started depending on twitch game streamers for political insight but it’s really been fucking with my head. Sorry bro, WoW raid experience doesn’t exactly translate to expert on international relations.

Not to mention his wow raiding consisted of a lot of screaming at people for fucking up and IMO any success was despite him not because of him.

There are actually a few twitch streamers that have political experience who stream about politics. They’ve run for office, or worked in D.C., so they have some interesting insights.

But that’s not Asmongold by a longshot.

And they’ll never reach the heights of asmond without the botfarms that amplify the signal to the algorithms.

No doubt, I wrote game streamer quite specifically - no background or education in politics, but have an audience carried from unrelated activities and influence it.

It’s a lot easier to amplify shitty opinions through stealthily promoting shut-ins that “organically” spread the right poison than to try and turn a journalist or a legitimate artist into a mouth piece. Peter Theil probably loves boosting characters like this with bots.

Hm, I mean I’ve known celebs to drop a comment on an issue close to them, or do an interview, start a charity - but how many pivoted to doing 16 hours of live political commentary, across all headlines and verticals, every day? These streamers have no credentials to be a pundit, yet still flood the feeds with their opinions. Seems like a distinct difference.

Wait, you’re telling me I don’t get educated about International geo-political affairs by standing in the fire of a raid boss?

Then where did I get all my actual geo-political knowledge from? Reading? Education? Fuck off with that.

WoW raid experience doesn’t exactly translate to expert on international relations.

They learned that cooperation is perfect…to coordinate and conquer those who are deemed weaker.
