minus-squarebstix@feddit.dklinkfedilinkarrow-up1·edit-21 day agoThe tram will be traveling the loop at close to the speed of light. Due to special relativity it will be shorter as it goes through the loop, so the wheels will fit the tracks perfectly when observed from the lever.

minus-squareLost_My_Mind@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up1·2 days agoThere’s a chance of anything at any time. For example, yesterday there were tornados here. A lot of people lost power. I live in an apartment building. Floors 1-4 have power. Floors 5-7 no power. I can’t explain HOW that’s possible, but clearly there was a chance.
minus-squaretheneverfox@pawb.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 day agoApartment buildings have multiple circuits that connect to the grid. Sometimes my power partially goes out, so like these outlets work but those don’t, because there’s three circuits and one tends to break first

This is how physics work.
