I didn’t mind the gay erotic arc towards the end, but the franchise finale got fucking weird.
I know this is shit post, but Take Shelter is a great movie.
My favorite part is when it justifies my rabid paranoia right at the end.

It’s completely fucking shit, feels like it was written by AI, and feels like it was acted by one as well.
I watched this last night by mistake, and can confirm, its garbage. The most irritating plot hole is that this guy isolated on an island and prepared for any eventuality including a beach invasion, somehow doesn’t have a bit of pennecilin in case of an accidental cut and infection.
I downloaded it by mistake because I was trying to get Shelter (2014) with Jennifer Connolly. Then searching it on the bay, I realized how many movies that were called Shelter or have shelter in their name. There’s at least 4 called Shelter, 2 called The Shelter, and a bunch of others.
I tried to get 28 Days Later when it came out and ended up watching a movie about Sandra Bullock in rehab.
It’s an epic melodramatic action-suspense episaga about finding yourself in every aspect: physical body parts, your hot lookalike, and the spiritual self awareness.
