    I just find it ironic that the people whining about datacenters, seem to be the people who rely on datacenters the most.

      You are equating internet infrastructure with the LLM mega-datacenters. You may be a neighbor to a datacenter that runs Netflix and never notice it.

        I work at an AI datacenter and the houses 50 meters away just think it’s a generic square building

            What dishonest rhetoric? I might be the only person in this thread who’s actually been inside a datacenter lol

            An “LLM datacenter” and “internet infrastructure” are the same fuckin thing. Racks of servers that create heat and suck up power.
